Vanessa Salas
Director of Operations
Vanessa Salas is from Riverside, California. She pursued her BA in Communications and Media Technologies at Academy of Art University. While pursuing a degree full-time she also worked for companies such as Univision News, Global Mentor Network, and Urban Knights Radio. Throughout college her skills continued to develop as well as her love for podcasting. Vanessa found her passion for podcasting in Matty Staudt’s podcasting class in 2015. She produced her own show “Being Latina” and “Reggaetonishhh”.
In Vanessa’s last year of college she worked alongside Matty, running Urban Knights Radio as a program director and social media manager. After graduating in Spring 2020, she is happy to be a part of Matty’s team once again, but this time building Jam Street Media’s social media platforms.
