Jasmine "Jazzi" Johnson is a multi-genre writer, creative and producer. She began writing fiction, music and poetry at the age of 6 and jump started her career as a journalist in NYC after graduating from The New School for media and writing studies in 2011. For years, she built a reputable name as a writer and editor in music, news and entertainment with publishers such as BET, Oxygen TV, NBC News, Teen Vogue, XXL, Genius, Yahoo!, and more. Jazzi moved to LA in 2018 to further her career in audio production and scriptwriting; her journalistic skills intertwined with her love for research, drama, history and fiction all culminated in reigniting her passion for storytelling and soundscaping. Since then, she's written and produced podcasts with Netflix, Discovery TV and Sinclair Broadcast Group to name a few. Currently, her ultimate goal is to create award-winning and impactful content that pushes boundaries, challenges narratives and inspires innovation.
